Genesis 22:1-8 "And it came to pass,
that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom
thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which
I will tell thee of. And Abraham
rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the
wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar
off. And Abraham said unto his
young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering,
and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife;
and they went both of them together. And
Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I,
my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for
a burnt offering? And Abraham said,
My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together"
17:11 "For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for
your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul"
Atonement = to cover, purge,
make an atonement, make reconciliation, cover over with pitch.
Exodus 12:3 "Speak ye unto all the congregation
of Israel, saying, In the tenth of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of fathers,
a lamb for an house"
Exodus 12:5 "Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year:
ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats"
Exodus 12:7 "And they shall take of the
blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it"
Exodus 12:12-13 "12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the
land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD.13 And the blood
shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague
shall not be upon you to destroy, when I smite the land of Egypt"
Jesus Christ The Lamb of
John 1:29,35-36 "29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold
the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world /35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;36
And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!"
3:24-26 "24 Being justified freely
by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:25 Whom God hath set forth a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;26 To
declare, at this time his righteousness:
that he be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus"
"7 In whom we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will,
according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself"
I Peter 1:18-19 "18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, silver and gold, from
your vain conversation by tradition from your fathers;19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
and without spot"
Revelation 7:13-14 "13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these
which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These
are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb"
Revelation 12:10-11 "10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and
the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before
our God day and night.11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved
not their lives unto the death"
Colossians 1:19-23 "19 For it pleased that in him all fulness dwell;20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, whether things
in earth, or things in heaven.21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in mind by wicked works, yet now hath he
reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight :
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard,
[and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister"
2:13 "But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ"
9:11-15 "11 But Christ being come
an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not
of this building;12 Neither by
the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes
of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means
of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first
testament, they which are called receive the promise of eternal inheritance"
I John 1:5-10 "5
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at
all.6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the
light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from
all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we
make him a liar, and his word is not in us"
Romans 5:6-11 "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous
man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us. Much more then, being
now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much
more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom we have now received the atonement"
Have you seen the Lamb of God shedding His blood for you?
I have stricken
His blood in my heart (by Grace and by Faith) that is all I got and trust.
Revelation 1:4-6 "4 John to
the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and
from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;5 And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten
of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,6
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen"
therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church
of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood"
God hath purchased His church with His own blood!
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
and walk in love, as Christ also hath
loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
